Government Overview

One of the most important focus areas of the Wisconsin Crop Production Association is the value and priority it places on industry representation within the areas of government affairs and legislative activities.

WCPA provides inroads to influence through introduction and/or support of pro-industry legislative bills, representation in the promulgation of agency rules, interpreting the intent of legislative law and subsequent agency rules, assistance with dispute resolutions, and developing programs that allow setting of industry standards through proactive industry-driven and agency assisted initiatives.

Within the context of activities outlined above, WCPA has developed relationships with each of the key state government agencies and is involved with partnerships, issue specific government affairs, and legislative related issues. Key government agencies WCPA is involved with are listed below.
