Ambassadors Program
Ambassador Regions
Four
regions have been established to assist in the
administration of the Ambassador program (NE,
NW, SE,
and SW) as
indicated below. The boundaries of the regions
are identified as the lines representing the intersections
of Highways 51 (North and South) and 21 (East
and West). Within each region, Ambassadors have
been designated to assist retailers who participate
in the EPP. WCPA Ambassadors are listed below
by region.
Ambassador Selection:
- Ambassadors are manufacturer representatives,
retail facility representatives and retired
industry personnel; class 1, 2, 3 and Lifetime
WCPA members.
- Retail facility representatives are required
to have previously participated in an Environmental
Partners facility assessment.
- Manufacturer representatives and retired industry
personnel attend a retailer facility assessment
prior to serving as an Ambassador.
- All Ambassadors also attend the initial education
session and the annual education program and
Advisory Council meeting to cover new information,
to evaluate program activities, and to recommend
program improvements.
- Ambassadors are recommended for initial ballot
and then voted for by the WCPA Board of Directors
for final selection.
- Four Ambassadors are selected for each of
the two northern regions and five Ambassadors
are selected for each of the two southern regions.
- Final candidates who agree to serve a three-year
term, attend required training, sign a code
of conduct, and memorandum of agreement are
designated by WCPA as industry Ambassadors.
